About WebP to PNG
PNG is the format editors, design tools and office software expect when they need an image with transparency and no further quality loss. WebP images downloaded from the web often need to be opened, edited or pasted into software that has no WebP support; converting to PNG solves that in one step.
This tool decodes each WebP and re-encodes it as PNG in the browser canvas, preserving the alpha channel and the exact pixel dimensions. Because PNG is lossless, the conversion adds no artefacts, but it cannot undo compression the WebP already applied. Files stay on your device, and up to 20 can be processed in a batch.
What this tool does
Lossless PNG output
The decoded pixels are stored exactly, so the conversion does not degrade the image further.
Transparency kept
Alpha channel data survives the conversion, which makes the PNG usable for logos and overlays.
Editor-friendly files
PNG opens in Photoshop, GIMP, Figma, Illustrator, Word and Google Docs without extra plugins.
Batch conversion
Convert up to 20 WebP files at once and download each PNG separately.
Private processing
Decoding and encoding happen locally; the images never touch a server.
