These terms apply to your use of FormatFlow (the "site"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The service

FormatFlow provides free online file tools. The tools are offered as-is, without registration. We may add, change or remove tools at any time. Browser-based tools run on your device; video and audio conversion is performed on our servers using temporary storage that is deleted after the job.

Acceptable use

  • You must have the right to process the files you upload. Do not use the tools to infringe copyright, break a contract, or process content you are not allowed to handle.
  • Do not upload unlawful material, malware, or content that violates the rights of others.
  • Do not attempt to overload, probe, scrape at scale, or otherwise disrupt the service, or bypass rate limits and file-size limits.
  • Do not use the site for automated high-volume processing without written permission. There is no public API in this version.

No warranty

The tools are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of conversion results, or uninterrupted availability. A conversion can produce a different visual result from the original: that is the nature of file formats, not a defect.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FormatFlow is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, files, profits or business opportunity arising from use of the site. Always keep a copy of the original file until you have verified the converted result.

Intellectual property

The site's design, copy and code are owned by FormatFlow or its licensors and may not be copied or redistributed without permission. You retain all rights to the files you process and to the results you download.

Advertising

The site is supported by advertising. Ads are labeled and kept separate from tool controls and downloads. We are not responsible for the content of external sites reached through advertising.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
